Hey everyone! Today we talked about segregation in schools prior to the Brown v. Board of Education decision. We looked at several court cases that broke down local and state public school segregation such as the Hedgepeth and Williams v. Trenton Board of Education decision.
For homework, I want you to read the articles I handed out on the Brown v. Board of Education decision and the Little Rock 9. Within two paragraphs, I want you to explain whether you believe the Brown decision achieved its goals within ten years by using examples from what you read.
